RESTORE YOUR ENERGY

AND STRENGTH THROUGH LOW-T THERAPY

While it's natural for testosterone levels to decrease as you age, you don't have to accept it as inevitable.

WHAT DOES LOW
TESTOSTERONE MEAN?

Feeling like age is catching up with you?

It's not just you. Many men experience a dip in vigor and vitality, thanks to lower testosterone. Say goodbye to fatigue, restless nights, unwanted weight, and a dwindling sex drive.

Our clinic is your partner in turning the tide, providing expert advice and treatments to help you feel like your best self again.

WHAT LEADS TO LOW-T?

Testosterone levels in men typically diminish with age, a normal decline that often doesn't impact sexual health or daily life. Yet, some men might unknowingly adjust to these lower levels of testosterone, which can be effectively managed and balanced through treatment by a licensed medical professional.

HOW DO WE DIAGNOSE IT?

Testosterone levels are determined through a straightforward blood test.

WHAT ARE THE TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR LOW-T?

At Iron Horse Men's Health, we provide various treatments such as hormone therapies and replacements to address low testosterone levels. Our team of medical professionals works intimately with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that best suits their individual needs.

WHY IS TREATMENT IMPORTANT?

Should you notice symptoms of Low-T like reduced sex drive, fatigue, muscle loss, weight gain, erectile dysfunction, memory issues, or depression, it's advisable to reach out to us. Balancing your testosterone levels can lead to a more vibrant and fulfilling lifestyle.

Our licensed medical professionals at Iron Horse Men's Health are equipped to assess your testosterone levels and recommend appropriate treatment strategies.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

At Iron Horse Men's Health, we meticulously monitor our patients' blood levels to promptly identify and address any potential side effects. Treatment for low testosterone could lead to various side effects, including exacerbation of prostate issues like BPH and prostate cancer, changes in red blood cell count, cholesterol, hormone levels, and PSA levels.

Other possible side effects are hair loss, mood fluctuations, breast enlargement, testicular atrophy, reduced sperm count, and acne. Additionally, treatment might aggravate sleep apnea and could potentially increase the risk of heart attacks and mortality, regardless of pre-existing heart conditions.

What is testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)?

Testosterone replacement therapy is a medical treatment that involves administering testosterone to men with low levels of this hormone. It can help alleviate symptoms associated with low testosterone, such as fatigue, decreased libido, mood changes, and reduced muscle mass. TRT can be delivered through various methods, including injections, patches, gels, and pellets.

How is low testosterone diagnosed?

Low testosterone levels can be diagnosed through a blood test that measures the amount of testosterone in the bloodstream. It is important to assess testosterone levels in conjunction with evaluating symptoms and medical history to determine if testosterone replacement therapy is necessary.

What are the potential benefits of testosterone replacement therapy?

Testosterone replacement therapy can provide benefits, including increased energy levels, improved sexual function and libido, enhanced muscle mass and strength, improved mood and cognitive function, and potential protection against osteoporosis. However, the benefits may vary among individuals, and it is crucial to discuss the potential risks and benefits with a doctor.

Are there any risks or side effects associated with testosterone replacement therapy?

Testosterone replacement therapy may have potential risks and side effects, including acne, fluid retention, increased red blood cell count, sleep apnea, breast enlargement, decreased testicular size, and infertility. It is essential to consult with a formally trained, experienced doctor before initiating TRT. Regular monitoring should occur as a part of a responsible treatment plan.

Is testosterone replacement therapy suitable for everyone with low testosterone?

Testosterone replacement therapy may not be suitable for everyone. It is typically recommended for individuals with diagnosed low testosterone levels and / or symptoms that significantly impact their quality of life. The decision to pursue TRT should be made in consultation with a doctor who can evaluate the individual’s specific circumstances and medical history.
